At Happy Place Golf Lounge, we believe golf should be for everyone — accessible, enjoyable, and social. Based in Louth, we’ve created a welcoming space that blends the fun of modern golf technology with the comfort of a high-quality lounge environment. Whether you’re a dedicated golfer chasing year-round practice or someone looking for a relaxed activity with friends, our aim is simple: to make golf part of everyday life in our community.
The Lounge Experience
Our main lounge features two state-of-the-art golf simulators, comfortable seating, and a modern, social atmosphere designed to bring people together. Guests can play famous courses, challenge friends, or simply enjoy a relaxed game at their own pace. The simulators use the latest technology for realistic feedback and immersive visuals, making them perfect for both practice and play. The space is open from early morning to late evening, offering flexible access for individuals, small groups, and private hire. We want everyone who visits to feel that they’ve found their “happy place” — a spot to unwind, play, and connect.
Community, schools and events
Community is at the heart of Happy Place. We welcome people of all ages and abilities, and offer discounted school sessions to give young people the chance to try golf in a fun, supportive setting.
Our lounge can also host presentations, birthdays, business events and socials, and club socials. You can book both bays together for a private event. Have a special request? Get in touch: we can help run the event, organise games and provide food.

Founded by Stuart Cunnington, Ian Thrower & Timmy Green, Happy Place Golf Lounge is more than just an indoor golf venue — it’s a project built around community, inclusion, and opportunity. Meet Our Team Members
Stuart Cunnington
Stuart is a local sports coach, business owner and co-founder of Happy Place Golf Lounge. With a background in community sport and special educational needs, he’s passionate about making the lounge welcoming for everyone, from first-time players to experienced golfers.

Ian Keith Thrower
Ian is Director of Sport at King Edward’s Grammar School in Louth and has strong ties to the local community. His experience in sport and education supports Happy Place’s work with schools and helps more people discover golf as a fun, accessible way to get active and connect.

Timmy Green
Born and raised in Louth, Timmy has played a hands-on role in bringing Happy Place to life, from design and building to fitting out and maintaining the bays. A keen golfer, he’s focused on making sure the space works well and gives visitors a great experience.
