Last updated: March 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and use of Happy Place Golf Lounge. By making a booking and entering the premises, the lead booker agrees to these Terms on behalf of all members of their group.

1. About the Facility

Happy Place Golf Lounge is a self-managed indoor golf simulator facility designed for practice, play, and social enjoyment.

The venue operates largely on trust and respect. Guests are expected to treat the facility, equipment, and other users responsibly.

Failure to follow these Terms may result in the booking being terminated without refund.

2. Bookings

Bookings are made online through the booking system.

Bookings may be made up to 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.

The person making the booking must be 18 years or older and is responsible for all members of their group.

Bookings are charged for the full reserved time regardless of arrival time.

Late arrival will not extend the session time.

3. Entry Access

Access to the venue is provided via a unique entry code issued after booking.

Entry codes allow access:

  • 5 minutes before the scheduled booking time

  • up to 45 minutes after the booking begins

Entry codes must not be shared outside the booking group.

Guests must ensure the premises are securely closed when leaving the venue.

Unauthorised sharing of entry codes may result in cancelled bookings or restricted future access.

4. Capacity Limits

To ensure safety and protect equipment:

  • A maximum of 4 people per simulator bay is permitted.

  • A maximum of 12 people when the entire lounge space is booked is permitted.

These limits must not be exceeded.

Happy Place Golf Lounge reserves the right to refuse entry or end a session where limits are breached.

5. Age Policy

Bookings must be made by a person aged 18 or over.

Guests aged 16–17 may attend without supervision.

Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled before the scheduled booking start time.

Once a booking has begun, no refunds will be issued.

Refunds will only be considered where there is a verified equipment failure preventing reasonable use of the simulator and the issue cannot be resolved during the session.

7. Session End & Grace Period

Guests must finish their session within their booked time where another booking follows.

If there is no booking immediately after your session, guests may remain to complete their round.

However, remaining more than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled end time may result in additional charges at the standard hourly rate.

Guests must respect subsequent bookings.

8. Food & Drink

Guests may bring their own food and drinks.

Alcohol is only permitted when the entire lounge space has been booked.

Guests consuming alcohol must do so responsibly.

Guests must dispose of rubbish and leave the venue tidy.

Failure to leave the space in reasonable condition may result in a £50 cleaning charge.

  • misuse of equipment

  • aggressive or abusive behaviour

  • deliberate damage to property

Golf spikes or metal spikes are not permitted.

Footwear that may damage turf or flooring is not allowed.

Only golf balls provided by Happy Place Golf Lounge may be used in the simulator.

Dirty or damaged balls can cause significant wear or damage to the impact screen and simulator equipment. The use of outside golf balls is not permitted.

  • hitting with dirty club faces

This includes damage to simulator screens, launch monitors, projectors, turf, hitting mats, and other equipment within the venue.

14. Simulator Equipment Protection

Guests must only strike golf balls from the designated hitting area and towards the impact screen.

Happy Place Golf Lounge accepts no responsibility for damage caused by misuse of equipment, including balls or clubs striking simulator hardware such as projectors, launch monitors, sensors, or surrounding structures.

Where damage occurs due to negligence or failure to follow simulator rules, repair or replacement costs may be charged to the booking holder.

15. Technology Disclaimer

Golf simulator systems rely on advanced hardware and software.

Occasional tracking inaccuracies or software interruptions may occur.

Minor technical issues that do not prevent play do not automatically qualify for refunds.

Refunds will only be considered where equipment failure prevents reasonable use of the simulator.
